We opted NOT to stick around for the prizes on Saturday. But my dad called tonight to let me know that I came in 2nd in my age group (30-39) and as a result received a coupon for 1 large Pizza Hut pizza! Just what every middle-aged runner needs!!!

Whoa ... that's how I won my first prize this summer. My dad and I ran a 10K and decided to go check out a car show down the street. I later learned that I came in second and my dad came in third in our respective age group. Somewhere there's a trophy for me. Congrats on the pizza.
